R3: Regain Rebuild Relive Ltd — Domestic Violence & Financial Abuse Support Programme

Effective Date: 1st July 2026 · Reviewed Annually

Our Commitment

R3 recognises safeguarding as a fundamental responsibility. We are committed to providing a safe, confidential, trauma-informed, and empowering environment for every adult we support.

R3 operates in line with UK law, safeguarding legislation, the Equality Act 2010, the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and relevant domestic abuse legislation.

Who Safeguarding Applies To

R3 supports adults aged 18 and over — men and women — residing within the United Kingdom who are affected by domestic violence, coercive control, emotional abuse, financial abuse, economic control, or post-separation abuse.

When We Act on Safeguarding Concerns

Safeguarding responsibilities apply where there are concerns relating to:

  • Vulnerable adults
  • Serious harm
  • Domestic abuse escalation
  • Coercive control
  • Financial exploitation
  • Mental health crisis
  • Suicide or self-harm concerns
  • Criminal exploitation
  • Threats to life or safety

Escalation

R3 reserves the right to escalate concerns to:

  • Police
  • Social care
  • Adult safeguarding teams
  • Health professionals
  • Emergency services
  • Specialist domestic abuse services

Safeguarding shall override confidentiality where necessary to protect life or prevent serious harm.

Confidentiality

R3 treats all information shared by participants confidentially unless there is:

  • Immediate risk of harm
  • A safeguarding concern
  • Criminal activity presenting serious danger
  • A legal requirement to disclose
  • Risk to vulnerable adults
  • A relevant court order

Where safe and appropriate, we will inform service users before information is shared, and we will minimise what is disclosed.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Every interaction at R3 is grounded in trauma-informed practice. We prioritise physical, emotional, financial and psychological safety; we move at the survivor’s pace; and we work to avoid re-traumatisation.

Digital Safety

R3 may communicate via WhatsApp, email, SMS, telephone, video platforms and online groups. We cannot guarantee complete digital security and encourage participants to use safe devices where domestic abuse risks exist. Notify us immediately if a contact method becomes unsafe.

Participant Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to treat others respectfully, maintain confidentiality, and engage safely. R3 reserves the right to suspend or remove participation where safety is compromised, serious misconduct occurs, or safeguarding risks escalate.
